I am working on my PhD in Film Studies at Université de Montréal, where my primary research focus is on videogames, identity, and the player/avatar relationship. I am currently working on my comprehensive exams slated for this fall. I also do contract work for Electronic Arts Inc. as a play-test moderator where I animate play-tests, and do some pretty interesting observation / focus group research. If this is not enough to keep me busy, I have two wonderful teenage daughters to keep me occupied in my ‘down’ time.
